Hey guys. So even though I’ve been in a major slump, there have been some pretty cool things happening too!
Such as my interview with Robinette and David Cross of Cross-Cultural Talks. They are amazing people who are providing an amazing service to the community. I couldn’t begin to tell you how much I admire them, their marriage, their ministry, their beautiful family, and their big ol’ hearts! Cross Cultural Talks …
” … is committed to the instruction, education, and upliftment of all mankind and, as global citizens, making sure that all who wish to have access possess the fundamentals needed to be successful in academics and cross-cultural understanding.”
My interviewer was the illustrious Robinette D. Cross. Robinette is a native of Richmond Virginia. She attended Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated magna cum laude, with Departmental Honors, and earned a Bachelors of Art in History with a Concentration in Africa in 2006. A dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Robinette also serves on several committees that are rooted in community service and education. Her commitment to excellence and community impact is what led to the founding of Cross-Cultural Talks. *
They day of my interview, I was nervous, Why? Because Robinette is a power house with the glorious ability to make me cry- pouring out my heart with how deeply she cares. Simply by asking “How are you?” She has been a force of strength in my life in some dark moments and one of the few people I can call on when I need a pep-talk. She has interviewed some pretty awesome folks and I felt honored she’d be interested in talking to me.
